Job Purpose

  • Provide leadership, support, participation, and facilitation to the organization’s performance-excellence /process improvement efforts using quality management principles. Provide leadership and direction for Quality Service associates. Ensure the development and implementation of effective quality plans and process control plans for both internal and external processes. Provide support to Engineering in new-product development projects. Support the organizational needs and values required to achieve Best Experience (VOC, VOA, VOP).

Job Duties

  • 30%  Acts as direct contact with associates by providing quality service and engagement ensuring associate services are carried out accordingly: Food service, transportation, associate govt. and personal documentation request (civil registry, social security, internal processing, for legal and benefit purposes), badges, attendance control(late to work, medical excuses and permits), and associate satisfaction survey. 
  • 20%  Handle employee relations, that require interpreting company policies for union and non-union associates: Policy hand book interpretation, coaching/conseling, exit interviews.
  • 20%  Coordinate union and non-union associate recruitment and selection process ensureing attraction and retention of the best people : Advertising for open positions, job posting, job descriptions, position control, interview selection, offer process, applicant tracking, interships, relocation(US associates only) and performance management system administration. 
  • 20%Administer union and non-union associate benefits: Union contract benefits, Non-union associate benefits, wage administration, PPC Software(Amigos) and data administration.
  • 10%  Control IMSS reporting pertaining to hires, separations, and wage changes (10%)



Education and Experience

  • Minimum - Bachelor's degree; 4-7 years relevant work experience.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employment verbally and in writing.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health legal compliance (OSHA, EPA, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, STPS) among other.
