    Mission

    This position is responsible for driving the sales of the SWFcontract division by providing exceptional services and support to customer base, key influencers, end users, and sales team. The individual will manage a team of Inside Sales Reps to support SWF Contract business activities to accomplish sales and customer partnership objectives. This position will work closely with the Sales Director and Marketing Director to align on projects, priorities, IBP forecast, and workforce planning.

    Objectives

    30%- Drive Sales Growth – by managing and aligning the key external services for the SWFcontract division

    • Drive Regional Sales Growth via Inside Sales Managers
    • Direct Inside Sales Managers to focus on maximizing revenue growth in their assigned region
    • Prioritize accounts to call on and work with
    • Manage overall dealer list – which accounts are inside vs. field sales
    • Leverage data: ProQuote, Sales reports, Quote reports, CRM
    • Use segmentation / loyalty program to determine resource investment, priority and focus
    • Work with customer service to ensure that orders, order status, remakes, OOS requests, and customer complaints are handled in a timely manner.
    • Help drive marketing programs within a region – from list preparation to follow up and follow through, tracking, and reporting
    • Help sales team and customers work through situations as they arise (material holds, supplier situations, capacity constraints.)
    • Provide leadership and direction to Application Engineering team (WI and PA)
    • Use KPIs and service metrics to drive resources and priorities
    • Manage the mix of work to align with service and revenue goals
    • Continue to track results, document best practices, and improve processes to get SWFcontract onto specifications for both new projects as well as substitution requests on existing projects
    • Generate high quality sales leads through web-based services (Blue Book), and via relationships with key channel partners

    50%- Specifications Manager

    • Support 1 or more sales regions with specifications, sales leads, and substitution requests
    • Generate specifications on key projects in conjunction with sales managers
    • Communicate competitive environment and bid requests within region to Director of Commercial Sale
    • Respond to sales, dealer and architect’s requests in a timely fashion, and per established processes
    • Help drive marketing programs within a region – from list preparation to follow up and follow through, tracking, and reporting

    20%- Administrative

    • IBP - Ownership of data collection, analysis and reporting for assigned functional areas
    • Expense reports and department budget management
    • Workforce planning, vacations, personnel development, training
    • Submit monthly reports, etc., on a timely basis
    • Checks satisfaction of internal customers through use of quality tools and Customer/Supplier metrics

    Education and Experience

    • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business or a related field
    • 5+ years experience professional sales experience
    • 5+ years experience in sales management in the interior products industry or in the commercial market
