    Digital Marketing Team:

    The Digital Marketing Team develops and executes the SWF residential digital marketing strategy to position our brands as market leaders, drive brand awareness and consumer engagement while continually improving the consumer’s digital experience. Digital Marketing at SWF is a fast-paced and dynamic group providing a vital role with our work often being the first impression consumers have of our brands. This is a group of technology enthusiasts who are motivated by a passion for providing our consumers a Best (digital) Experience.

    UX Designer Mission:

    The UX Designer is instrumental in the design, research, front-end development, and implementation of all our digital experiences and products. Among our rapidly-growing digital product offering are e-commerce and internal websites, retailer microsites, custom product configurators, 3D visualization, and apps. You’ll develop user-centered creative strategies and concepts in partnership with other designers, copywriters, content developers, product managers, and IT developers as well as external agencies and strategic partners. Our team thrives within this collaborative environment. On each project, you will be an advocate for our customers and ensure accessibility and brand consistency are at the center of every concept. 

    Objectives:

    * UX/UI Design and digital strategy for digital experiences

    - Define the structure and flow of the user experience through user interaction audits, wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and taxonomies

    - Establishment of design standards consistent with business objectives and brand guidelines

    - Awareness of traffic, usage and engagement across media

     

    * Web page design, development, production and maintenance

    - Develop design concepts; create wireframes, sitemaps, and mockups

    - Support design of user interfaces in SWF websites

    - Develop site structure strategies taking into account factors such as: persuasive architecture, usability, linking structure and metrics

    - Collaboration with art directors and copywriters to maintain brand cohesiveness

    - Website development including programming and maintenance as needed

     

    * Project management/coordination

    - Participate in management of assigned projects throughout the project life cycle (strategy through implementation); including discovery, and initial assessment, program definition, creative development, program launch, measurement and reporting.

    - Collaborate closely with IT web developers

    - Work with internal departments, stakeholders and external vendors in planning, implementation and launch of projects including development of project plans

    - Document issues and communicate with stakeholders

    - Develop project and process documentation

    Requirements

    Position Specific Requirements (Education, Experience):

    * Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field

    * 5+ years of user experience design and research experience; website and mobile app design and development experience preferred

    * Exceptional design skills, production value, and attention to detail

    * Strong working knowledge of Sketch, Illustrator, Invision, and associated design and prototyping tools

    * Considerable knowledge and experience with Google Analytics and Kissmetrics a plus

    * Aptitude for learning new technology; tech-savvy

    * Effective verbal and written communication skills

    * Ability to collaborate with others and work with cross-functional teams

    * Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills

    * Possess a sense of urgency and prioritization

    * Consistent attention to detail and quality
