    Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Sales/Marketing team! The Retail National Accounts Sales Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the Retail Sales and Marketing team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study.


    The ideal candidate should be at the junior level or higher on track to obtain a degree in business management, marketing or communications from an accredited college. The ideal candidate's general coursework should include business, marketing or economics related classes.


    Job Purpose:


    The primary role of this Internship is to help manage the coordination of account program executions, initiatives, projects and process activities to meet sales and marketing objectives for multiple Retail and Internet accounts. This individual will be responsible for managing the coordination of projects as well as assigning work and prioritizing projects across the team. The intern will be expected to work across the organization and implement projects through Middleton and/or retail field sales.


    Typical Job Duties:



    POG Alignment audit: Work with THD/Lowes to determine the amount of space dedicated to SWF brand, confirm the POG accuracy vs retail portal and update SWF files.  In addition, count facings dedicated to competition to understand the amount of space allotted to Springs vs competition. Create a master list of Shutter POGs at THD.


    Store Volume Analysis: Determine what are the % of stores between THD/Lowes/JCP/Menards that drive 70-80% of business, and provide continued (1) Regional and (2) Store level analysis to drive key projects and initiatives:
       * The Home Depot In-Bay Showroom
       * Lowe's 2019 Merchandising Project
       * Lowe's GDAH displays results (4 test scenarios)
       * Analyze data per region to determine if region should carry more sample blinds of a specific PL through space v. sales analysis
    Assist in determining the estimated visits per store based on volume within the territory. 
    Supporting launches, and helping determine which stores should have


    .com Content Data scrub: Scrub top .com accounts (THD, BDC, Lowes, JCP) and make sure content, tiles are up to date and relevant.  Provide feedback on content that is incorrect, wrong, or discontinued.


    Job Skills and Knowledge:

    • Must be organized, methodical, quality minded, detail oriented, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Must be flexible with job assignments, able to work independently and well with others (team environment).
    • Must communicate well and properly document results of test procedures, and have knowledge of SWF Program
    • Must manage multiple small or limited scope projects.
    • Position takes direction from Lead; Channel Marketing and/or Project Management team leader.


    Skills Needed:

    • Proficient computer skills Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Lotus Notes, MS Project and Access
    • Data collection and management of database.
    • Strong general math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, fractions, metric conversions, algebra, and geometry)
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills
    • Good communication skills (verbal, written)
