The Channel Marketing Intern position is intended to assist the Dealer Channel Marketing team with project and communication support while providing the student with valuable work experience related to their chosen field of marketing.
The student should be junior level or higher with a path to obtain their degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from an accredited college. General coursework should include classes related to marketing, business administration, pricing and/or communications.
Provide communication support Dealer Channel Marketing team. This is successfully accomplished by understanding our products, dealers base and go-to market strategy as well as available methods of communication and outreach. These efforts will have a direct impact on our ability to communicate key marketing messages to our dealer base, our outside sales team. This role will also be responsible to create a standard documentation process for active marketing pieces, giving the organization visibility to what is active and current.
Typical Job Duties:
*Collaborate with Integrated Marketing (graphic designers, copywriters, etc.) to develop updatable, Graber branded digital newsletter format, so changes can be made within the Channel Marketing team.
*Compile and create dealer specific digital newsletters, gathering and formatting relevant content in specified brand voice.
*Develop branded dealer facing emails (create content as well as email layout, etc.) and coordinate distribution.
*Coordinate weekly update videos for outside sales teams by drafting script, recruiting internal talent and coordinating productions with Integrated Marketing.
*Work with the Channel, Integrated Marketing and Inventory teams to audit current/obsolete materials and create a standard documentation process for active marketing pieces, giving all parties visibility to what is active and current vs. what is not.
*Maintain project list and provide routine updates on activities.
*Communicate and provide project status/updates to team lead and other associates within Channel Marketing team.
*Quality: Integrates quality at the source thinking and activities in daily, individual, team and project work.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
*Must be organized, methodical, quality minded, detail oriented, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Must be flexible with job assignments, able to work independently as well as with others (team environment).
*Must communicate well and be able to proficiently write customer facing marketing materials in the designated brand voice.
*Must have working knowledge of MailChimp and Adobe PDF.
*Experience creating and publishing digital newsletters preferred.
*Must manage multiple small or limited scope projects.
