    JOB PURPOSE:

    Responsible by Leadership and supervising recruitment and selection, new associate orientation, policies implementation, employee events, employee relations, union relation, benefits and compensations, lunch room and transportation services, turnover and absenteeism analysis, pre-payroll of personnel exempt, pre-payroll authorization for direct personnel and support PPC manager in all activities. 

     

                                                                                                                                                                                                           

    JOB DUTIES:

    1. Lead the recruitment indirect associates for the site and work with Supervisors and Managers to make Quality placements. The process includes Recruitment, Selection and Orientation. Reviewing applications, telephone screening, conducting interviews, scheduling candidate interview whit supervisors, conducting reference checks, submitting Job Offers, Scheduling pre-Employment physicals, and scheduling start dates.

     

    1. Ensure that new associates receive new-hire orientation with other members of Human Resources (date, room location, list of attendees, list of presenters and presentation time, etc.) and have PPC/Training Generalist give presentation.

     

     

    1. Lead the relationship with payroll to ensure that payroll to factory hourly associates is done correctly and promptly. This includes Christmas Bonus, vacation, saving fund, profit sharing, and all other requirements from union contract and Mexican Law.

     

     

    1. Produce Monthly data for the execution of business review reports for PPC (Headcount, Turnover Information, PPC activities, Training and Development, community relations)

     

    1. Supervise and Develop PPC Generalist in Labor relations issues, therefore insuring corrective action, coaching and counseling is done according to SWF Internal Work Rules, Mexican Labor Law, and Union Agreements.

     

     

    1. Handle employee relations, which require interpreting company policies for factory associates and supervisors and assuring procedures and programs are in place.

     

    1. Lead communications and work directly with PPC Team to plan various employee events which may include the company picnic, Health Fair , Culture and sports events, habitat program, mothers day celebration, etc.

     

     

    1. Provide Support in projects and assignments, as needed (Factory Hourly wage survey, updating Job Descriptions, category and job progression, etc)

     

     

    Quality - Integrates quality at the source thinking and activities in daily, individual, team and project work.

    1. Utilizes quality/process tools and methodology in daily individual work
    2. Utilizes quality/process tools and methodology on teams
    3. Defines and documents individual processes within sphere of control
    4. Ensures that others are trained as back-ups on (processes) within the area/department
    5. Improves processes within sphere of control
    6. Identifies waste and rework and enacts plan to improve/solve

    • Experience minimum 4 years in maquiladora environmental
    • Bilingual (80%)
    • High sense of urgency
    • Excellent communication skills at all level: Verbal and Written
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Good decision making skills based on data, analysis and process
    • Demonstrated teaming experience
    • Previous experience in a leadership role
