Job Purpose

Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including collateral and other promotional products. Analyzes customer requirements, develops messaging architecture and competitive positioning, specifies vehicles/projects, secures resources. Works with internal and external partners for design and execution of campaigns, trade show, events and trainings.


Job Duties

  • Develop copy for marketing communications campaigns
  • Create company literature and other forms of communication
  • Assist with the scheduling/coordination/promotion of marketing events
  • Plan, seek approval and implement education courses and materials
  • Research media coverage and industry trends
  • Coordinate tradeshows, memberships and trade advertising
    • Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget
    • Coordinate scheduling and logistics
    • Identify, develop, and execute communications strategy for key media contracts and customer references
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives 


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, writing or other related field is required
  • 1-3 years related experience 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
