Internship Overview   

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Project Management Team! The Project Management Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

 

Internship Projects and Responsibilities   

  • PBT Process Improvements
    • Participate in Process Improvement sessions for PBT processes
    • Work with project managers on developing and optimizing tools for PBT processes
  • Project Management templates
    • Collaborate with project management team to build or optimize tools utilized for the support of Enterprise-wide projects as the scope of the project management team expands beyond product management initiatives
  • Project Buildouts
    • Participate in Business Case planning meetings for upcoming projects
    • Work from templates to create WBS, RAID, and Dashboards in Smartsheet for upcoming projects
    • Perform cross-funcitional review of drafted WBS to ensure completeness and ensrue timelines are accurate

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience in relevant function 
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Junior level
  • Strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, yet ability to see the big picture
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office 
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
