Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Procurement Team! The Procurement Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects and Responsibilities   

  • Commodity Strategy and Cost Savings
    • Assist with development of commodity strategy process and facilitate competitive sourcing events
    • Work with Commodity Managers to provide data to support the development of commodity strategies. Assist commodity managers with gathering RFQ data and information to facilitate competitive sourcing events to further increase our Savings Pipeline.
  • LTA Database Tracking
    • Work with Procurement team to create dashboards on key terms for more effective contract management. Assist legal with any advancements or implementation of a contract database
  • Technology in Procurement
    • Study the use cases for AI and other advanced technology in procurement
  • Supplier Risk Analysis
    • Update the company's supplier risk analysis and update results and final presentation

Requirements

What We’re Looking For 

  • Previous internship experience in relevant function
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (add excel/analytics for certain roles)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
