This is an entry-level factory position with a high potential to move into a machine operator position, depending on your skills and motivation.
Experience is not necessary - we will train on the job. We expect new openings as Machine Operators in the near future due to retirements.
Hours are usually Monday – Thursday 5AM – 3:30PM with some overtime as needed by scheduling and demand.
We do work overtime as needed by scheduling and demand and your schedule may vary beyond Monday – Thursday.
We are a Drug-Free facility and we drug test at hire, random testing and for cause (this includes recreational and medical marijuana use).
High School Diploma or GED.
Springs is a wood production facility in Grayling, Michigan. We produce components for wooden window blinds and shutters.
The operation involves the wood drying process, milling (planer, ripsaw, defecting, moulding, sanding, &c.) shipping & receiving large volumes of wood.
Mechanical ability is preferred and we train on the job.
