Job Summary

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Change Management and Data Entry Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will contribute to part setup documentation, document revision management, and communication of updates with internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures compliance with company procedures and standards in change management.

 

Objectives

  • Support Engineering team with new part setup and specification documentation.
  • Manage updates to existing parts and specifications.
  • Manage and update engineering documents and records.
  • Communicate documentation updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with company procedures for change management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive department productivity.

Requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have an Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or document management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with document control and revision management.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and procedures.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM data management for CAD is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Proficiency in using document management software and tools.
  • Ability to follow procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
