Mission

 

The Residential Sales Training Team is dedicated to delivering the Best Experience for our employees, customers, and end-users. As a Training Specialist, you will play an integral role in training our Springs Window Fashions internal sales teams and external customers. Utilizing strategic thinking and planning, we develop meaningful and engaging training around product knowledge and selling skills. Training at SWF comes in many forms—from web-based modules and interactive virtual webinars to in-person, hands-on courses. As a part of our team, you will help us to achieve our goal of enhancing the expertise of all those who represent our products.

 

Objectives

 

  • Facilitate instructor-led training sessions with internal employees and external customers to build expertise to drive greater sales and engagement
  • Develop and publish regular, ongoing communication materials for new product launches and/or updates
  • Analyze performance to identify and assist in the build of follow-up training
  • Design new training programs and/or customize existing training programs that ensure the successful implementation of key strategic initiatives/programs or address specific training needs
  • Coordinate, implement, and deliver tactical internal and external product training and education plans to ensure superior customer service for those representing our products
  • Deliver training for the following:
    • New Hire Training
    • External Customer Training and Onboarding
    • New Product Launches
    • New Hire Training
    • Selling Skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years prior experience in facilitation, technical training, training content development, and/or product support required
  • Working understanding of learning concepts
  • Positive and creative mindset and willing to be open to development and feedback from peers and leadership
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional time and project management skills and follow-up to ensure on-time deliverables
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Critical, analytical thinker
  • Knowledge and ability to apply adult learning theories
  • Industry or in-home sales experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel – potential of up to 40% travel
