Springs Window Fashions is hiring an experienced EDI Business Analyst to join our growing IT Analyst Team

 

(This role can be based out of our Madison, WI area Corporate Headquarters or Chicago, Milwaukee, the Fox River Valley area, or other locations with a reasonable commute Madison as there is an on-site expectation of around three days per month)

The EDI & Product Configuration Team - We help turn tangible products into electronic masterpieces

 

We’re seeking an EDI professional to join our growing team. You will work directly with some of the largest retailers in the world to ensure doing business with Springs Window Fashions is easy, accurate, and efficient. 

 

To accomplish this, you will collect and document requirements, and use the requirements to design, configure and test projects related to order acceptance, product mapping, and invoicing through EDI interfaces. Throughout the process, you will troubleshoot issues, meet with business users and track metrics regularly to verify solutions.

Job Summary

 

The EDI Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating and executing programs to make doing business with Springs Window Fashions easy and efficient through electronic interfaces. This role will support both our customers and customer service staff, as well as be a valuable part of our IT and Product Configuration team. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Document business/customer requirements and develop functional and technical specifications/designs.
  • Translate Business Requirements and designs into technical solutions.
  • Perform unit and integration testing for configuration and end to end EDI processes.
  • Work with business partners on an ongoing basis to ensure solutions are meeting business requirements.
  • Ongoing responsibility of production support of the EDI process and solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze, track and remediate root causes of defects.
  • Analyze reports to determine opportunities and communicate results frequently to business

Requirements

 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related business field required.
  • 1+ years of Business Analysis experience with an EDI emphasis.
  • Experience working with iSeries, TrustedLink, BizManager, and EDI mappers
  • Experience with Query 400, and DBU preferred.
  • Experience with RPG400, ILE and Free preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong Business Process experience required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with requirement specifications to define scope and system boundaries, recommend alternative methods to achieve complex system requirements and estimate resource implications of requirements at a high level
  • Looks for innovative ways to streamline work processes across our customers and involves stakeholders

  • Ability to translate business requirements into process and technical specifications
